The Borough of North Arlington has made arrangements with a Income Tax Preparer to prepare Federal and State Income Tax Returns and Property Tax Rebate forms for qualified seniors at no charge, except for a small $10.00 e-file cost fee.
The street sweeper will be back in full operation on Monday February 29th 2016. Please move vehicles on your scheduled day of cleaning.
The North Arlington Health Department will host a free Lunch & Learn program “The Gift of Sight” on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at 12 Noon in the Senior Center, rear of the Health Department building at 10 Beaver Ave., No. Arlington.
As we age, maintaining good eye health becomes more important. This “Save Your Vision Month”, join Clara Maass Medical Center and optometrist Julienne Walker, OD, for a free ocular screening. Lunch will be served.

The Borough of North Arlington invites all residents interested in becoming a volunteer for North Arlington join the CERT Team.
Recognizing the universal value of this program, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) worked in conjunction with the LAFD to make the CERT program applicable to all types of hazards and developed a CERT training program which could be used nationwide and adapted to meet local conditions when the need arose..
The Mission of the Bergen County Animal Response Team is to provide courteous and professional service in rescuing, sheltering and care of all animals in times of all-hazard disasters. The men and women of the CART volunteer organization shall train, coordinate and educate the public to prepare for all animal emergencies.
The following are designated as meetings of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of North Arlington, County of Bergen, at which public business may be formally discussed, decided or acted upon. The meetings will be held at 7:00 pm at Borough Hall, 214 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ, Second Floor, Council Chambers.

THIS IS A REMINDER THAT YOUR PET’S LICENSE WILL EXPIRE ON JANUARY 31, 2016.
IMPORTANT: If your pet’s rabies vaccination expires BEFORE NOVEMBER 1, 2016, IT MUST BE REPEATED in order for you to renew its license. STATE LAW PROHIBITS THE ISSUANCE OF A LICENSE IF THE RABIES IMMUNIZATION EXPIRES BEFORE NOVEMBER 1, 2016. In order to accommodate those who fall into this category, the Borough allows for a 2-month grace period (until March 31) to have your pet immunized.
The North Arlington Board of Health will sponsor a free Rabies Clinic at the Legion Place Firehouse on Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
